POLICY FOR INFORMATION SECURITY
Basic Policy
At Alpha Net, the added value we create for our customers through the support of the effective use of business information technology and security is high, and we consider providing safer system environments to be our greatest purpose.
- Building relationships of trust with our customers is our number one priority, and we take the greatest precautions when handling and securing all information resources including personal information.
- Each of our employees maintains a high standard of ethics and a strong sense of responsibility, and in addition to following the laws and basic rules of society as a matter of course, will comply with the terms and conditions of the contract for each customer, and will behave in a manner befitting the spirit of those laws.
- By earning the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Mark certifications, we are promoting intracompany standardization, and along with reinforcing our management structure, we are causing every employee to thoroughly implement these measures.
- In order to respond to the risk fluctuations that accompany internal and external company environmental changes, we will at all times implement risk reappraisals and improve our security measures on a continual basis.

PERSONAL INFORMATION PRIVACY STATEMENT
Declaration
Alpha Net Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Alpha Net") considers the appropriate securing of the personal information of our customers and all personnel involved with Alpha Net to be of importance as a societal obligation, and based on the policy below, shall spare no effort in the proper protection, management, application, and use of personal information.

Policy
- 1) Gathering and Usage of Personal Information
- Alpha Net shall gather personal information only after clarifying the purpose for gathering such, and only to the extent of that purpose. In addition, usage of any personal information shall not deviate from the bounds of the stated purpose in the gathering thereof.
- 2) Management and Protection of Personal Information
- The management of personal information shall be strictly carried out, and excepting cases where the customer has given their consent, such data shall not be disclosed or provided to any third party. In addition, appropriate preventative and corrective measures shall be carried out for the prevention of unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration or leak of personal information.
- 3) Compliance Laws, Etc.
- Alpha Net shall comply with laws and codes applicable to the personal information which Alpha Net possesses.
- 4) Continuous Improvement of the Personal Information Protection Management System and Structure
- Alpha Net shall continuously implement improvements with regard to the management system and structure for the protection of personal information.

Handling Personal Information
Alpha Net Co., Ltd. shall manage and handle the types of personal information noted below in an appropriate manner. Specifically, Alpha Net shall regiser, use, and store each within the bounds of the purpose for which it was gathered, and shall not provide or release the same to any third party nor make any use thereof outside the stated purpose without prior consent by the individual or individuals concerned.

Privacy Mark
On May 30, 2006, Alpha Net was certified with the Privacy Mark by the Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC). “The PrivacyMark System accredidates [sic] private enterprises that maintain systems for the appropriate handling of personal information, and certifies the right to use the PrivacyMark for those who meet certain standards.” (From the www.privacymark.org website)
